Removing (Shaving) Emblems |

To remove the emblems from the Storm a few items are needed. First item is a hair dryer; the second is a length of relatively strong fishing line. Hold the hair dryer near the emblem to be remove till it feels hot to the touch; then take the fishing line and wind a loop around each hand, then walk the line behind the emblem and, with a sawing motion, pull the line from one end of the emblem to the other. This will remove the emblem and not destroy the paint. When all emblems are remove take some OOPS or a like item (easily obtained from any good parts store) and wipe the glue residue from the surface.
While other methods have and will be suggested, this is the easiest I have found. |
