Title: Quickor Strut Tower Bar Installation
Article: These instructions are for the SOHC Storm. Please feel free to print this page for reference.
The Quickor StrutBar (www.quickor.com) is not available on their website. However, you can call them at (503)654-2175. Ask for Glen (and tell him that you heard about his product thru the GSOP). The StrutBar costs $45 + $5 shipping (American).

1) Set parking brake firmly (chock rear wheels if necessary) and open hood.

2) Remove the 3 mounting bolts from the top of the strut, also remove and save the rubber plug from the 4th hole in the strut tower at this time.

3) Jack up one side of the vehicle until the mounting bolts on that side can be pushed free of the strut tower. A little force may be required to loosen the top of the strut.

4) Rotate the strut mount 180 degrees so that it will use the front-most mounting hole and carefully lower the car so that the bolts come through a little.

5) Put the nuts back on the left and right side of the strut. Then, put one end of the strut-tower bar on the front most hole and finger-tighten the last bolt. Take this time to put the rubber plug in the, now vacant, rear hole. Lower this side of the car back down.

6) Repeat on the other side.

7) Tighten the last 2 bolts (that hold the strut tower bar) when the car is back on the ground. Also double check all bolts for proper tightness at this time.

8) Step back and admire your handy-work.

9) Get in the car and go corner-hunting!
