Title: Red Lights for the Speedo / Cluster
Article: What you need:
4 - 194 bulbs in red
1 - 74 bulb in red (this one might be hard to find in red)
screwdrivers (flathead and phillips, maybe a stubby phillips as well)

The 194 bulbs can be bought at any auto parts store, and you can usually find them in red, but the 74 bulb you may have to paint or find a silicone boot in red to put overtop of it as I did.

First, you need to unscrew the bottom two screws holding the cluster piece onto the dash. There should also be two screws on top of the cluster. For this, you'll need to pry outthose two little plastic tab pieces first, then get a little stubby screwdriver up there to undo those top two screws. Once you unscrew these, you can pull the cluster surround piece off. As you pull it away from the dash, unplug the two clips for the switches on the sides of the cluster, this way you can get the entire thing out of the way.Now we need to unscrew the actual speedo here. There are a couple screws on the top of it and a couple on the bottom. I don't know how many for sure as the person who previously owned this car had taken this off and there were some missing screws. Anyways, it's straight forward. Now you can pull the speedo forward a bit. You don't have to pull it out all the way. There are little black and green things in the back of the speedo. You just turn them and pull them out. The green ones are the ones you need. There's 4 bigger ones (for the 194 bulbs) and 1 little one (for the 74 bulb). The green ones also have little red dots on them to tell you which ones are for the display itself. Pull those out and you'll see the bulbs have a little green silicone boot or condom on, which gives it the green color. You can just pull these bulbs out of the sockets and replace with the red ones, and pop them back in. Before screwing everything back in, start your car and make sure the tachometer and speedometer both work. Sometimes if you pull it out a little too much, they don't work, and if they don't, just push the speedo cable back in, and it is just a cable that goes into the back of where the speedometer is. Once you verify that's all working, screw it back in place and plug those clips back in and screw back on the cluster piece and you're done.
Estimated time to do this mod: 30 mins
Estimated cost - $15 at most (I bought 2 packs of 2 red 194 APC bulbs at an auto parts store for $10, plus the other 74 bulb, you have to figure out if you'll paint it or buy a silicone boot in red, which is hard to find, as I have not found a red 74 bulb yet)
