These instructions where written for an Impulse RS but will apply for the Geo Storms as well
What you need
A 3/4 piece of conduit
A Drill and a 13/32 drill bit (as well as a smaller bit for starter hole)
A Hacksaw
A Vice
A File
An Exacto knife
A phillips head and flat head screw driver
An about an hour of free time
1. Take the conduit and measure it to be just a little bit over 38. Mark that spot. And take the conduit to the Vice and cut it.
2. After it is cut measure in on one end of the conduit about 1.25 and then put that section into the vice and clamp it until it is flat.
3. Repeat on the other end of the conduit.
4. Now remove the seat belt covers from the back seats. There should be 4 bolts on each side, some bolts are hidden by little plastic tabs, which will pry off with a screw driver
5. Now remove this nut from both sides
6. Lay the conduit across so it sits on the two bolts, now mark where the bolts are with a marker onto the conduit.
7. Take the conduit back to the vice,a nd drill a starter hole where the bolts are, then enlarge the hole with the 13/32 bit. repeat onto the other side
8. Take the bar back to make sure it fits, if it doesn't you may need to file holes out a little until it goes down with out any problems.
9. Once the fit is right, either polish, paint or powder coat the bar.
10. Next you need to modify the seat belt covers plastic with an exacto knife.
11. Put the bar on and tighten the nuts back down, place the now modified pieces of plastic back on. and step back and admire your work.
